Any new manager wants to make an impression at their club, but if Enzo Maresca’s criticism is designed to motivate his players, it could backfire on the Italian.
Chelsea eased past Servette in the first-leg of their Europa Conference League Play-Off, but rather than look at the positives the manager took a pot shot at Mykhailo Mudryk.

“When he has the ball, you don’t know if it’s one thing or another thing,” was part of his scathing assessment of the player’s performance.
Given that the West Londoners will likely still sell players before the end of the current window, it sounds like the Ukrainian needs to watch his back.
Enzo Maresca on Mykhailo Mudryk’s performance against Servette:
“I think this is Mudryk, not only tonight but since he joined the club.”
“When he has the ball, you don’t know if it’s one thing or another thing.” ?
