Video: Erling Haaland hit in the face by Real Madrid match referee

It wasn’t the best night of Erling Haaland’s career as he once again drew a blank against Real Madrid.

The Man City striker was kept quiet all game and forced to feed on the occasional scrap, and for a striker that often finds the net with consummate ease, he didn’t look like breaking his duck at the Santiago Bernabeu.

His night wasn’t made any better by getting hit in the face by the match referee, Francois Letexier, as he walked off the pitch at half-time.
