Danny Welbeck has scored his 100th career goal against none other than former club Manchester United.

The 33-year-old veteran was named in Fabian Hurzeler’s starting lineup for today’s Premier League clash at the Amex Stadium.

And looking to extend Brighton’s impressive head-to-head record against the Red Devils, Welbeck took just 32 minutes to remind his old club what they’re missing.

Slotting the ball home from close range, the Seagulls’ number 18 beat Andre Onana from just a couple of yards.

However, the 33-year-old’s effort was made a lot easier after Harry Maguire made two errors in quick succession.

The United centre-back first failed to stop Joao Pedro’s cross and then misjudged an interception to prevent Karou Mitoma’s pass from reaching Welbeck.
