VIDEO: International Star Makes Surprise NXT Debut, Throws Hat Into Title Picture

There she is. The WWE roster is like any other major wrestling promotion, in that it needs to see new names added to mix things up a bit. That can make for some interesting situations, especially when someone finally makes a long awaited appearance. We saw that this week, as a new star made her surprise debut while focusing her sights on something rather valuable.

The closing segment of this week’s NXT saw a face to face confrontation between NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and Giulia. However, Stephanie Vaquer appeared on the Titantron, announcing that she wanted to be the next challenger for the title. This comes after Vaquer signed with WWE in July and has wrestled two matches for the promotion at live events in Mexico. Perez is set to defend the title against Giulia on October 1.

Opinion: You knew that Vaquer was coming sooner or later but having her pop up before Giulia gets her title shot is rather interesting at the same time. Vaquer is someone who is going to be added into the title picture rather quickly, which makes sense as she is certainly that talented. Other than that, it makes me wonder who is leaving next week as the champion, which is a good sign for the match.
