Jadon Sancho was on target as Borussia Dortmund secured a 2-0 win against PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday night in the Champions League to secure a place in the quarter-finals, with a 3-1 aggregate victory after two legs.

The winger is currently on loan from Manchester United and he threaded his shot through the legs of an Eindhoven player and in off the post in the third minute, while Marco Reus secured the win with a calm finish in stoppage time at the end.

Sancho’s goal was his second in two matches after returning to Dortmund in January on loan from United. It was also a milestone goal for 23-year-old as the strike saw him score for the first time in the Champions League knockout stage.
