Jérémy Doku’s first year at Manchester City is going smoothly for the moment. Arriving this summer from Rennes, the Belgian winger was quickly aligned in Pep Guardiola’s eleven at the start of the season. Not so immovable since, the 21-year-old was sometimes sent to the bench in recent weeks.

However, Doku started this Saturday against Luton Town in the Premier League. Playing the entire match, he was one of the major architects of the Skyblues’ big victory against the promoted team. Already the author of an assist, the native of Borgerhout scored a goal in the 87th minute after making several of his opponents dizzy. This is his first goal since January 7 in the FA Cup against Huddersfield (5-0).
