Signed at a high price this summer by Manchester United, Joshua Zirkzee is set to be one of the Red Devils’ attacking weapons this season. And the former Bologna player’s debut with United was brilliant last week. Coming into play in the second half against Fulham last Friday, the Dutchman broke the London lock at the very end of the match to perfectly start his new adventure.

This Saturday, the former Bayern Munich player shone for another action. This time, it was much less glorious. Indeed, while his team had equalized a few minutes before, Zirkzee prevented his team from taking the lead at the end of a lunar action. While Alejandro Garnacho thought he had scored in the empty net after a service from Bruno Fernandes, the goal was ultimately disallowed. The reason? Joshua Zirkzee, in an offside position, touched the ball before it entered the Seagulls’ goal. An action that should get people talking across the Channel…
