Jurgen Klopp stormed out of a post-match interview with Scandinavian TV following Liverpool’s dramatic FA Cup clash against Manchester United.
The visitors were defeated 4-3 at Old Trafford as Amad Diallo scored a 121st-minute winner to book United’s place in the FA Cup semi-finals, despite Klopp’s side having led 2-1 and 3-2 at points of the match.
After the game, with Liverpool’s hopes of a quadruple firmly put in the bin, Klopp became ratty and took offence to a question from a V Sport reporter and stormed out.
Klopp was asked about his side’s intensity dropping in extra time when he said (via Daily Mail): “That’s a bit of a dump question.
“If you see us often, you can ask us the other times why we have so much energy.
“I don’t know how many games we’ve had recently and how many games Manchester United have had. That’s sport.
“I’m really disappointed about that question, but you thought obviously it’s good.”

The reporter followed up with: “So too many games?”
Klopp replied: “Oh you don’t think that. Come on!
“You are obviously not in a great shape and I have no nerves for you.”
I suspect there are some linguistic issues at play when he says the reporter is not in great shape, but we’ve seen Klopp behave like this with other journalists. It shows him in a negative light but it’s also part of his personality.
What’s hard to get your head around is how the media portray Klopp, even though he looks down on reporters like their sub-human.
