Cometh the hour, cometh the man. Kobbie Mainoo has just scored an outrageous goal in the seventh minute of injury time to restore Manchester United’s lead at the Molineux and claim all three points.
Fresh off the back of his first-ever senior goal in last Sunday’s FA Cup clash, the 18-year-old starlet has now opened his Premier League account in the most emphatic circumstances.
United led 3-1 heading into the last 10 minutes of the contest before Max Kilman was able to snatch one back in the 85th minute and Pedro Neto levelled the scoring in 90+5.
Two minutes later, Mainoo took matters into his own hands; he brushed and shimmied past numerous opposition defenders before dispatching a scintillating curling finish past Jose Sa, sending the travelling Reds into hysterics and Wolves players onto their knees in despair.
