Video: Luis Diaz restores Liverpool’s lead despite suggestions of a foul in the build-up

Luis Diaz has restored Liverpool’s lead 7 minutes into the second half. 

The ball drops to Elliott on the right, with the substitute waiting for options before sliding a pass across to Diaz, who nods it in from close range with his head.

The was a lengthy VAR check for offside and a foul, but the goal eventually stood.

Burnley manager Kompany was fuming at the decision as he felt Alexis Mac Allister had caught his player in an attempt to take a shot before the goal.
