Manchester United travelled to Kenilworth Road for the first time since 1992 on Sunday afternoon.
Erik ten Hag’s side continued their unbeaten run in 2024 with a 2-1 win over Luton Town after United’s faithful away following was in full voice throughout the game.
Although the scoreline will forever read 2-1 in the history books, and remembered for Rasmus Hojlund’s record-breaking opener before he made it two minutes later, United could have easily scored 5 goals against the Hatters.
Alejandro Garnacho, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Hojlund all missed sitters in the second half when United were looking for a third goal to increase their lead.
That goal never came but United held onto their lead, which gave the away end at Kenilworth Road plenty of reason to be in full voice after the referee blew his whistle for full-time.

United now move within three points of Tottenham in fifth, while Aston Villa remain five points clear in fourth place.
Next week we welcome Fulham to Old Trafford and Spurs won’t be playing because their game against Chelsea has been postponed due to the Carabao Cup final taking place on Sunday.
