Manchester United target Michael Olise marked his return to Crystal Palace’s starting line-up by scoring the winner in their 3-2 comeback victory over Sheffield United at Selhurst Park.
It was a close affair between Palace and Sheffield United, but the hosts took the lead for the first time in the 67th minute when Jean-Philippe Mateta’s cross bounced in the direction of Olise, who made it 3-2 with a stunning half-volley.

Olise also registered two assists for Palace team-mate Eberechi Eze.
The three points will ease pressure on Eagles boss Roy Hodgson, who has been tipped as one of the next Premier League managers to face the axe. Palace are currently positioned 14th in the Premier League table.
However, there was a blow for Palace fans on the night. They had barely finished celebrating Olise’s strike when the winger went down and, after consulting physios, was removed after 69 minutes of play.
Speaking to reporters after the match, Hodgson suggested that Olise was substituted as a precautionary measure, but he will not have any confirmation on that until further tests are done.
“We’re waiting to see what the prognosis is”, Hodgson said, as per Yahoo. “With any luck they’ll both be there [against Brighton].
“I think Michael is OK. With Eze, that was just unfortunate. It was a bursting run into the box and he started to feel his hamstring a bit.”
Olise linked with Manchester United move in the summer
United are leading the race to sign Olise, according to reports.
Football.London claim Olise favours a move to the Reds over Chelsea, after being strongly linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge last summer.
The 22-year-old already spent seven years with Chelsea from the age of seven to 14 but he could snub a return to the Blues this summer.
Olise has managed six goals and three assists in 10 appearances.

His game time has been limited by injuries and Palace fans will hope he hasn’t suffered another knock after last night’s important win over the Blades.
