If all goes to plan throughout the day, Manchester United will have two new signings in their ranks by this evening.
The Red Devils finally achieved a breakthrough in negotiations with Bayern Munich over the weekend and reached agreements for both Noussair Mazaraoui and Matthijs de Ligt; the former’s signing hinged on Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s move to West Ham United, and he is travelling to London today to complete his medical.
This morning, Mazraoui was spotted arriving at Munich Airport to catch his flight to Manchester, where he’ll put pen to paper on a five-year contract plus the option of an additional season.
