Andre Onana will be the most popular man in the dressing room when the referee blows his whistle for half-time at St.Mary’s.
The goalkeeper spared Diogo Dalot’s blushes with a stellar penalty save up against Southampton’s Cameron Archer.
Dalot clumsily lunged in and brought Tyler Dibling down in the area after the youngster had efficiently got the better of him, and, after a lengthy VAR check to determine whether the tackle was inside the box, the spot-kick stood.
Yet, Onana produced some much-needed heroics to ensure the scoreline stayed level, saving Archer’s initial driven strike before his follow-up headed attempt.

A brilliant chance for Southampton to take the lead early on 🫣
