Rasmus Hojlund was on the scoresheet again as Manchester United beat Aston Villa 2-1 at Villa Park.
Goals from the young Danish striker and Scott McTominay were enough to seal a crucial win to give United’s top four hopes a welcome boost.
Hojlund’s strike at Villa Park matched a Premier League record. The 21-year-old has become the youngest player since Nicolas Anelka to score in five straight Premier League matches. Anelka did so at the age of 19 at Arsenal but in current form, our new striker will be backing himself to go on an even longer scoring run.
As shown on Sky Sports after the match, Hojlund showed his class with a kind gesture towards a doting fan in the away end.
The striker made a beeline for a young supporter named Zayden, who was sat in a wheelchair in front of his dad. Hojlund was happy to make the fan’s day by handing over his match-worn shirt.

Zayden’s dad Benjamin took to X to write: “Zayden’s all famous now. He’s absolutely buzzing on the coach back to Manchester. It’s these little things that make a kids day an absolute worldie. What a lad Rasmus Hojlund is. This is what football is all about. This is the beautiful game at its best inspiring the next Gen.”
