It may have taken Rasmus Hojlund a few months to settle in the Premier League, but the young Danish striker is in red hot form after scoring in his sixth consecutive league outing.

Hojlund has surpassed Nicholas Anelka by scoring for the sixth Premier League game in a row to become the youngest player to do so ever, as reported on the official Manchester United website prior to the game.

The 21-year-old opened the scoring against Luton Town this afternoon and becomes the fourth player in United’s history to score in six consecutive Premier League games. He joins a respected list of Cristiano Ronaldo, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Eric Cantona in doing so.

Hojlund took his goal superbly against the Hatters as he rounded the keeper before making sure of his finish.
