(Video) Scott McTominay appears in cringy Adidas advertisement

Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay can forget about a career as an actor.

The Scotland international has appeared in one of the cringiest club advertisements in recent memory.

Acting as a cashier at United’s megastore, McTominay checks out a pair of Predator boots for a customer.

Manchester United shared a 14-second long video on X with the following caption: “Checking out with these beauties.” In the clip itself, McTominay tells the customer: “That will be a GOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLL!”

The cash register then reads: “GOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLL!”

Although McTominay’s performances tend to warrant criticism, he has amassed a total of six goals and one assist in 24 games this season.

That isn’t bad for a midfielder in a side struggling to score goals.

But, seriously, forget about the acting. Stick to the football.
