Winning such a title can be a great boost to a wrestler’s career, especially if it is the first such title win over their career. That was the case again this week, as a new champion was crowned, albeit with some slightly unfair circumstances.

The main event of this week’s edition of NXT saw Dragon Lee successfully defend the North American Title against Lexis King. Following the match, Oba Femi, the Men’s Breakout Tournament winner, came to the ring and cashed in his contract for a title match at any time. Femi went on to win the title in less than two minutes, marking his first championship of any kind in WWE.
