IMG Credit: WWEBoss fight? There are certain stars who are bigger than just about anyone else on any roster. As a result of their star power, there is often the chance that they will not be around full time. That can make their limited appearances feel that much more important, especially if it is not announced in advance. We saw just that again this weekend with one of the biggest stars in wrestling history.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Surprise Return At WWE Bad Blood Following Lengthy Health Issue
The main event of this weekend’s Bad Blood event saw Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes team up to defeat the Bloodline. Following the match, which saw the return of Jimmy Uso after a lengthy absence, the Rock also returned and stared at Rhodes, Reigns and Uso. Rock counted to three while looking at them before walking away to end the show. He also posted a video to Instagram following his return. This was Rock’s first appearance since the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania 40. It is not clear when he will appear again.
There he is. Check out the Rock’s return, his comments after the show, plus what he had been doing before he left:
Opinion: You knew he would be back at some point and there was no way around it. At the end of the day, the Rock is as big of a name as there is in WWE these days and putting him in there with either Reigns or Rhodes should make make for quite a moment. There is a good chance that this is the start of the road to WrestleMania 41 and there is no way Rock will be left out of a show like that.
What did you think of the return? Who do you want Rock to face next? Let us know in the comments below.
