During the match between Liverpool and West Ham, the Liverpool manager and his star had a rather heated explanation.

Liverpool’s season ends in bitterness. In addition to a series of missteps in the various competitions, the flagship club from the northwest of England is also experiencing tensions within itself. The proof was provided this Saturday during the match against West Ham (2-2).

During this game, we saw Jurgen Klopp, the team manager, and Mohamed Salah, the team’s best director, bickering near the touchline. A scene rare enough to be passed over in silence.

Salah challenged Klopp

We were at 77e minute of play when the two men had this virulent exchange. It was just after the Hammers equalized, signed by Antonio. Salah apparently criticizing his coach for not having included him on the pitch earlier. A reproach in public and which he would perhaps not have allowed himself if the German technician was not leaving at the end of the season.

After the match, the Reds coach reacted to this incident. “We talked about it in the locker room and the matter is now closed.” However, this was not the opinion of the Pharaoh, who blurted out: “If I speak, there will be fire.”

Note that with today’s draw, Liverpool abandoned their last illusions for the conquest of the title of champion of England. It would take a miracle for the Merseysiders to overtake Manchester City and Arsenal in the standings.
