Scott McTominay had an instant impact off the bench for Manchester United as they led Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 in the second half.
The Reds had just conceded a spot-kick after a foul from Casemiro, who was subsequently taken off as he was already on a yellow card while committing the challenge.
Pablo Sarabia converted the penalty, which would’ve left United’s players feeling on edge given the prospect of blowing away a two-goal lead and not taking all three points. However, Scott McTominay came on and did his bit to ease the tension by netting a superb header from Bruno Fernandes’ corner within just 23 seconds on the pitch.
Ten Hag and Casemiro looked more relieved than anyone else, as the pair ecstatically jumped into each other’s arms on the touchline.
