Manchester United’s matchday squad to face Coventry City yesterday confirmed that they had reached 60 separate cases of injury or illness that’s led to a player missing a match.
Sofyan Amrabat, Mason Mount and Willy Kambwala were the latest to add themselves to the mix, with the latter’s absence forcing Casemiro to deputise at centre-half alongside Harry Maguire.
Scott McTominay was withdrawn in extra time for youngster Omari Forson, clutching his groin as he exited the pitch, having just missed two matches through an unspecified issue.
As well as that, in the closing stages of regular time, Marcus Rashford was replaced by Amad Diallo and was later spotted limping while making his way out of Wembley.
