Leny Yoro’s foot injury is keeping him out of action for the start of the Premier League. It is feared that the French centre-back will miss up to three months of action after undergoing surgery to his metatarsal.

That hasn’t stopped Yoro from taking part in team bonding sessions, like when the team went out for a Chinese meal after beating Fulham 1-0.

That means Yoro can get to familiarise himself with his new team-mates and the dressing room he will be part of once he returns.

The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the best young centre-backs in Europe over the past year.

In a new video that has surfaced on social media, Kobbie Mainoo can be heard jokingly complaining about the length of time Yoro took to enter a cab, saying: “Leny, you’e so slow bro!”

Yoro’s pace is one of his strengths, but he should be excused while on crutches.

The sooner he can bring more speed to our defence the better. He’ll need time to adapt to the English game, too.
