While in conflict with him, Patrick Vieira ended up changing his opinion regarding Mario Balotelli.

Vieira and Balotelli left on bad terms at Nice. Destiny wanted them to be reunited again under the colors of Genoa. Many observers thought that the cohabitation of the two men could not work, but now the duo put the dispute aside for the good of the Rossoblu.

This was seen last weekend when Balotelli accepted his role as substitute without complaint and came on at the end of the match to participate in Genoa’s success on the Udinese pitch (2-0). A good attitude and one that his French coach did not fail to salute.

Vieira satisfied with Balotelli

“Balotelli played around fifteen minutes, he worked well during the week and he must continue like that. Mario, like Vitinha, must continue to work, I am happy with him,” Vieira said.

Since the arrival of the 98 world champion at its head, Genoa has moved forward in Serie A. In two games, the promoted team has gleaned 4 points and moved up to 15e rank of the ranking.
