Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior responds to Saudi Arabia transfer rumors through his spokesperson, who says there has been no contact since August.
Rumors of transfer to Saudi Arabia do not affect Vinicius Jr. While the Real Madrid striker is going through a complicated period marked by defeats for the Merengues and a terrible 2nd place in the 2024 Ballon d’Or, some media have announced a possible departure of Vinicius to the Saudi Pro League.
Rumor has it that a Saudi club even considered making the Brazilian the highest paid player in the world. However, Vinicius’ spokesperson Eduardo Peixoto clarified the situation.
“There has been no movement since August”
In response to the rumors, Eduardo Peixoto wanted to silence the speculation. “There has been no movement or communication from a Saudi club since last August. We don’t talk about these rumors, everything is done through official channels”he told the media Arriyadiyah. A clear clarification which seems to close the door to discussions on a transfer to Saudi Arabia.
