Vinicius joins a legend

Being compared to Brazilian Ronaldo is not given to everyone. Vinicius, 24, has not yet had the career of the double world champion (1994, 2002) but he has just joined his illustrious compatriot, 48, in the figures.

Scorer on Saturday against Valence FC (1-2)now has 104 achievements in the white jersey, all competitions, as much as Ronaldo during his visit to the Spanish capital (177 matches between August 2002 and January 2007).

Vinicius needed 307 meetings to achieve this performance and should therefore soon take the lead in the ranking of the best Auriverde scorers in the history of Real Madrid. The old left side Roberto Carlos is in third row (69 goals).

Arrived at Real Madrid in July 2018, from Flamengo, Vinicius had been transferred against 45 million euros.

With the Spanish giant, the Brazilian international (39 selections – 6 goals) won the Champions League twice (2022, 2024)
