Real Madrid snatched victory against Almeria (3-2), Sunday in La Liga, at the end of an incredible match, marked by a goal from Vinicius’ arm validated by the referees.

It’s the big show with Real Madrid at the moment. After a Spanish Super Cup marked by an incredible derby against Atlético (5-3, ap) and a brilliantly won final against Barça (4-1), Carlo Ancelotti’s team beat Almeria at the end of a match absolutely incredible. Dani Carvajal’s goal in the 99th minute allows the Merengues to regain the lead in the standings with two points more than Girona.

The Madrilenians were not only manhandled by the red lantern of La Liga, who led 2-0 at the Bernabéu at half-time thanks to Largie Ramazani (1st) and Edgar Gonzalez (43rd). Real was revived by a generous penalty transformed by Jude Bellingham (56th), saw a third Andalusian goal refused by the VAR for a foul at the start of the action and, above all, a goal scored from the arm of Vinicius (67th) .

The valid video referee

The scandal is total with this 2-2 goal. On a cross from Aurélien Tchouaméni, “Vini” clearly took the ball with a movement of the arm (and not the shoulder) and celebrated like crazy. Unsurprisingly, the video referee reviewed the images for many minutes, but, in complete incomprehension, the VAR asked the central referee to validate the achievement, which was the case after watching this goal again of the arm.

This unjustified goal will be controversial for many days because it obviously influences the title race. Especially since Real won at the end of added time (11 minutes minimum had been announced), a delivery from the stratospheric Jude Bellingham allowing Dani Carvajal to throw himself at the far post to score the winning goal (99th ).

🤯 What a match at the Bernabéu!!! Led 2-0 by bottom Almeria, Real finally won 3-2!

👀 A victory that will make people cringe with two questionable VAR decisions on two Madrid goals.https://t.co/FAh9P9AiE6
