WWE’s history of releasing talent has seen periods of significant turnover, leading to a sense of instability among the roster and fear of sudden cuts. Although the frequency of releases has decreased recently, WWE continues to make strategic decisions regarding its talent roster, with various factors influencing which Superstars are let go. Last week, many talent were released from the company and it appears another one has been let go as well.
Last week delivered disappointment to numerous WWE fans, with the company opting to release several stars in its latest round of cuts. Among those affected are Xyon Quinn, Jinder Mahal, and surprisingly, Xia Li. Additionally, Veer Mahan was unexpectedly released shortly thereafter. Following them, Sanga was also released from the company.
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Twitter, it was reported that WWE had also released NXT star Von Wagner as part of the latest slew of cuts.

Von Wagner had debuted back in 2021 as part of NXT 2.0 and he had a bright future ahead of him, but ultimately he just couldn’t make as much of an impact as fans would have liked. His feuds with Bron Breakker and Dijak will always be remembered no matter what. We’ll have to see what the future holds for the former NXT Superstar.
