Ghana will face Egypt in the second round of qualifiers for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The Black Queens will begin their quest for back-to-back WAFCON tournaments with a two-legged game against Egypt later this year.

This comes following Egypt's win over Rwanda in the first round of qualifiers earlier this week. The North African side came up top in the two games with a 3-2 aggregate score.

Having booked their place in this year's edition, Kim Lars Bjorkegren's side will be hoping to make it two consecutive appearances in the continental tournament.

The team booked a place in Morocco for the 2025 edition under Nora Hauptle following their win over Namibia in the last round of qualifiers.

The second-round games are scheduled to be played between October 20 and 28, 2025.

The 2026 WAFCON will also be held in Morocco.
