IMG Credit: All Elite WrestlingInching closer? There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and you never know how long someone is going to be out of action. What seems to be a run of the mill moment could leave a wrestler on the shelf for a very long time. That was the case with an AEW star, who has been out of the ring for the better part of a year. Now we have what might be a rather positive update.

AEW’s Adam Cole suffered a foot injury last year at Grand Slam on September 20, 2023 and has not wrestled since. According to PWInsider.com, Cole was backstage at this week’s AEW Dynamite in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. This is shortly after he was seen at AEW All Out earlier this month where he was said to be “walking around fine”. There is no word on when Cole will be able to return to the ring.
Cole has been quite good while he’s around. Check out his time in AEW:
Opinion: It’s sad to see Cole out of action for so long due to what can be described as a freak accident. He was injured stepping off of a ramp without actually being in a match and is out for a year as a result. That is not the kind of thing you see happen very often and unfortunately there is little that can be done other than wait. Cole being backstage at AEW events is a good sign though and hopefully he is back soon.
What do you think of Cole’s time in AEW? How would you bring him back to AEW TV? Let us know in the comments below.
