IMG Credit: All Elite WrestlingThey weren’t done. There are certain types of angles that work no matter how they are presented, as there is something about them that stand out above the rest. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: His Other Job: Here Is The Cool Reason You Probably Won’t See Samoa Joe In AEW For A Few Months
The main event of this week’s AEW Dynamite saw Mariah May defeat Willow Nightingale to win the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and earn an AEW Women’s Title shot against Toni Storm at All In. Following the match, May attacked Storm and left her blody to end the show. AEW has released a new video, showing the aftermath of the show, with Storm being carried out and May being asked for an explanation.
This was big. Check out the angle, the new footage, and part of how we got here:
Opinion: May turning on Storm was one of the best things that AEW has presented in a long time and that is because of how emotional it felt. The whole thing came off as an angry, violent moment, with May letting out all of her frustrations now that she had what she wanted. This has the potential to be one of the best things AEW has one in a good while and could steal the show for the next few weeks.
