WATCH: Angelo Dawkins Cuts Fired Up Promo Before SmackDown Title Match (This Is Good)

He’s ready. Titles are some of the most important things in all of wrestling as they signify success. A wrestler winning a championship can be one of the most important moments of their career, but it can be an equally important moment if they win it again. That is what someone is going to try to do this week and they are fired up on their way to the title match.

This week’s SmackDown is expected to featured the Street Profits challenging the Motor City Machine Guns for the WWE Tag Team Titles. The Profits’ Angelo Dawkins posted a video of himself cutting a promo in a training ring, talking about how much he wants to win the titles. Dawkins said that while the Machine Guns were worthy, they were worthy of a beating.

This was fired up. Check out the promo, plus the teams in action:

Opinion: That is as good of a promo as I’ve heard from either member of the Profits and that is a heck of a way to get the fans more invested in their title match. You do not get to see that kind of emotion very often and it worked well here. You could feel the emotion in what Dawkins was saying and that is the kind of thing that can make a match that much better than it would be on its own.
