The video shows the three players enjoying a game together, each donning their Barcelona shirts. Although they were not in the same location, Messi and Suarez played together online while Neymar joined them from a different space.
Suarez, who recently joined eFootball as an ambassador, is the newest member of this reunion. In the video, the trio revisits their glory days at Barcelona, where they became synonymous with attacking brilliance.
Numbers go beyond imagination
It must be noted that the MSN trio amassed an incredible 363 goals between them in official competitions during their time at the club, cementing their place in Barcelona’s history as one of the most formidable attacking units in football.
— eFootball (@play_eFootball) November 21, 2024Neymar’s arrival at Barcelona in 2013, just one year after Messi and Suarez had already established themselves, marked the beginning of the MSN era.
With the addition of the Brazilian star, and under the leadership of coach Luis Enrique, the trio became an unstoppable force, helping Barcelona secure numerous victories and titles.
Together, Messi, Neymar, and Suarez played a crucial role in securing Barcelona’s second-ever treble during the 2014-2015 season.
Over the course of their partnership, they also helped the club win six additional trophies, marking one of the most successful periods in the club’s history.
However, in their final season together at Barcelona, the trio was only able to add one Copa del Rey and one Spanish Super Cup to their collection, despite scoring a combined total of 110 goals.
This showed how much the club’s fortunes had changed, even for such a prolific attacking trio, leaving fans to reflect on what could have been had their time together lasted longer.
