No matter how many years of training and experience a wrestler may have, there is always the chance that something could go wrong in the blink of an eye. Unfortunately that appears to be the case again this week as a nasty mistake took place in a match.

Jeff Hardy and Sammy Guevara faced each other in a match taped for this week’s AEW rampage. During the match, Guevara attempted a shooting star press, which hit Hardy’s raised knees. As Guevara landed, his knee hit Hardy in the face. The referee immediately stopped to check on Hardy, though there is no word on his injury status. There is nothing to suggest that Hardy was unable to continue.
