WATCH: Rhea Ripley Teases Entering WWE Men’s Royal Rumble

Come on in? We are less than a week away from the Royal Rumble and that means it is time to get ready for the show, which is as unique of a card as WWE presents all year. The show needs sixty wrestlers to fill out its two namesake matches, which can make for some complicated situations. Now though, one spot might be filled, though it might not be what you were expecting.

Over the weekend at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Rhea Ripley defeated Nia Jax to retain the WWE Women’s World Title. After the match, Ripley was interviewed and asked about her status for the Royal Rumble. Ripley said that since she had no reason to enter the Women’s Royal Rumble, she might enter the Men’s Royal Rumble. Should she do so, she would be the fifth woman in history to enter the men’s edition, following Chyna, Beth Phoenix, Kharma and Nia Jax.

Opinion: This is where things get interesting as Ripley very well could get into the Men’s Royal Rumble match. There are only so many things for her to do after being so dominant and it would not surprise me to see her move in another direction. For now though, it is interesting to see such a tease, as Ripley is going to need a different challenge of some point in the future.
