Invasion? WWE has quite the structure, with its roster divided into three different shows, including the two main roster shows with Monday Night Raw and SmackDown, plus the NXT developmental show. While the rosters stay in place for the most part, you will occasionally see some of the stars appear elsewhere. That was the case again this week, with some top stars making a surprise appearance.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Don’t Mark Your Calendars: Update On Upcoming Intercontinental Title Match

This week’s NXT opened with Axiom and Nathan Frazier defending the NXT Tag Team Titles against the Street Profits, who wrestle on the SmackDown brand. The match ended via DQ when the Bloodline made a surprise appearance and attacked the Profits, with whom they have been feuding in recent weeks. The Bloodline attacked both teams to end the segment. There is nothing to suggest that this will be anything more than a one off appearance on the show.

It was a big surprise. Check out the invasion, plus what the Bloodline can do:

Opinion: NXT has been doing a lot of higher profile things as they are about to wrap up their time on USA and move over to the CW next month. Bringing in stars like the Bloodline is a great way to make things feel more important and it worked well here, especially as a major surprise. You do not see star power like that on NXT very often and it worked rather well this week.
