WATCH: Three Returns Take Place On AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday

Welcome back. There are all kinds of talented stars on the AEW roster and it can be difficult for some of them to have something to do. At the same time, it can be easy for some of them to be missing in action due to one reason or another. That can lead to some interesting returns when someone gets the chance to come back after a long time off. We saw multiple instances of just that this week.

This week’s edition of AEW Dynamite saw three people return after lengthy absences. First up, Jake Roberts appeared in a backstage segment, revealing that he had traded the rights to Lance Archer to Don Callis for other stars, who would later be revealed as Rush, Dralistico and The Beast Mortos. This was Roberts’ first appearance in several months. Later, Daniel Garcia made his first appearance since All Out, announcing that he had signed a new contract with AEW. Finally, Penelope Ford interrupted a four way match by distracting Jamie Hayter. Ford has been out of action since February 2023 due to health issues.

Opinion: This is the kind of busy night that you do not get to see very often but it was still a special bunch of moments. It’s good to have the three of them back as they have been away from AEW for a good while each. Hopefully they can stick around for a long time more as the three of them can all do some good things for the company, as long as they are actually present.
