WATCH: WWE Officially Confirms Big Return For Royal Rumble Match

Well that was pretty obvious. A wrestler returning from an injury can be a huge moment, as it means that someone is back after what might be a very long time. It leads to questions of how they are going to be doing after such a hiatus and what is going to happen when they face some new opponents. That is what we are going to be seeing with one of the most successful wrestlers of all time.

This week on SmackDown, a vignette announced that Charlotte will be returning to the ring at the Royal Rumble next Saturday. Charlotte has been out of action for over a year following a knee injury in December 2023. Her return had been rumored for several weeks, with a vignette airing last week on SmackDown, though no date was given. There is nothing to suggest that she will be appearing before the Royal Rumble.

Opinion: This isn’t exactly shocking as we knew that Charlotte was coming back and the Royal Rumble is about as perfect of a place to bring someone back as WWE has to offer. I’m curious to see how she does after such a long hiatus, as that is a terrible amount of time to lose for any reason. What matters the most is that she is on her way back though, as it has been a very long while.
