A little over two months after he was sacked, Xavi Hernandez is back at FC Barcelona as he is present at the farewell ceremony of his former teammate and ward, Sergi Roberto.

Xavi was relieved of his duties as the first-team manager by the Catalans at the end of the 2023/24 season which ended without any trophy.

The former midfielder and club legend’s exit was handled in a poor manner, with Joan Laporta & co. convincing him to continue even though he had already decided to step away, only for the club to sack him.

Following his departure, Xavi has been spending quality time away with his family, but returned to the club facilities today for the farewell event of his former teammate.

With Roberto set to say goodbye to the club of his life, Xavi has opted to attend the event and was seen greeting some of the Barcelona youngsters in the clip above.
