Thomas Tuchel has reportedly failed to create a bond with Bayern Munich players, while his relationship with Joshua Kimmich continues to sour.

Bayern Munich suffered their third consecutive defeat in the Bundesliga on Sunday, against VFL Bochum (3-2). This is the club’s fourth defeat in the league this season, which finds itself eight points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen.

According to The Athletic, manager Tuchel failed to create a bond with Kane and his teammates, which played a significant role in the team’s poor form this season. A member of Bayern management told the media that not only did the German manager fail to create a bond with his players, but he even sometimes publicly discredited them.

Players with grudges

There have also been rumors about the deterioration of relations between Joshua Kimmich and his trainer. The midfielder was visibly furious during Sunday’s match after Tuchel replaced him. Kimmich was seen exchanging angry words with assistant coach Zsolt Low. BILD reports that Kimmich has felt snubbed by the Bayern coach this season, who has often preferred to field Leon Goretzka and Aleksandar Pavlovic in his place.

The reigning champions will look to return to winning ways and close the gap to Leverkusen on Saturday in a tough Bundesliga match against RB Leipzig.
