Roomies, hol’ up! The innanet is speculating that Future might be taking shots at Gunna.
Did Future Diss Gunna On New Track?
Future recently hopped on a track with ASAP Ferg titled, ‘Allure.’ While spittin’ bars on the record, Future raps, “You took a plea on my slime, won’t be surprised you ended up dead (Slatt).”
Fans quickly assumed the ‘March Madness’ rapper was referring to Gunna, who accepted an Alford plea deal in late 2022 after his arrest on RICO charges alongside 27 other alleged YSL members, including Young Thug.
Social Media Reacts To Future’s Song
The Roommates immediately reacted to Future’s lyrics under The Shade Room’s Instagram report. Many called him out for mentioning Gunna and claimed that he should be focusing on other things.
Instagram user @skinnyxdude wrote, “Mannn nobody will never convince me to go against gunna 🤷🏿♂️”
Instagram user @_royaleroxy wrote, “I like when Future be talking crazy somebody gotta do it 😂”
While Instagram user @meiish_aav wrote, “This could apply to anyone really…so many people took the stand on that man.”
Then Instagram user @dejofspade wrote, “Why ppl keep saying this when Thugs FATHER already said Gunna did no such thing⁉️⁉️”
Another Instagram user @dylanrthompson_ wrote, “Future you 40, go be a role model.”
Finally, Instagram user @prettiyello_ wrote, “He taking shots when he need to be taking care those kids🤷🏾♀️”
Details On Previous Beef Between The Atlanta Rappers
This isn’t the first time social media has speculated that Future and Gunna have beef with each other. As TSR previously noted, the Atlanta emcees exchanged a few words on X (formerly Twitter) back in May.
At the time, Future hopped on the platform writing,”F*** yo album S*** ain’t slappin’ like my MIXTAPE.”
Although the ‘Mask Off’ musician didn’t mention any names, several social media users assumed he was speaking about Gunna since they were both releasing new music on May 10. From there, Future went on to promote his mixtape ‘PLUTO.’
At the time, Gunna also shared a few words of his own on X. “F** What These boys talkin bout,” the rapper wrote. Shortly after, he continued with, “Turn this s*** bac up Notch……!”
Gunna Previously Described His Current Relationship With YSL
Despite ongoing snitching allegations, Gunna has been clear about his position with Young Thug’s YSL label. Back in June, the ‘pushin P’ rapper told RapCaviar on their ‘Day In The Life’ show that everything was all good.
“I’m still signed to YSL, I’m still providing, like we still pushing. Like, no paperwork has been changed; know what I’m saying. So it’s like whatever’s been getting and how we pushing this s**t, it’s still going,” Gunna revealed.
Additionally, Gunna shared with XXL in April that he and Young Thug are also still on good terms. “It’s love, always. Our relationship is our relationship,” Gunna said.
