Wayne Rooney is reportedly interested in joining a Saudi Arabian club in the hopes of getting his managerial career back on track.
The Manchester United legend is currently without a club after he was sacked by Birmingham City in January.

Despite the poor run of results, the former England captain already seems keen to return to the dugout.
The Sun report that is interested in managing a club in Saudi Arabia amid their huge influx of talent since the beginning of 2023.
"Wayne's time in charge at Birmingham hasn’t put him off the idea of management," a source told the outlet.

"In fact, he believes he learned a lot of skills which he thinks will hold him in good stead in the future. Wayne realises he still has a lot to prove, but he believes he has what it takes to be a manager and would love the chance to manage a team in Saudi Arabia.
“He loved his time managing in America and thinks he could transfer a lot of those skills to the Arabian league.”
The report also suggests that there is likely to be strong interest in the five-time Premier League winner from owners of Saudi Arabian clubs.
Rooney's spell at St. Andrew's followed a stint at MLS side D.C. United, which was preceded by his time in charge at Derby County.
He could now be set to follow in the footsteps of former England teammate Steven Gerrard with a move to the Gulf state.

Gerrard recently signed a two-year contract extension at the club despite not winning a game since October.
