Nollywood actress, Dayo Amusa seems to have weighed in on the clash between her colleague, Funke Akindele, and late actress, Jumoke Aderounmu’s brother.

It is no longer news that the internet has been divided since Adeola Aderounmu called out the movie star over her fake love for his deceased sister. He accused the box office Queen of abandoning Jumoke during her sickness and was now pretending to love her.

In what seems like a response to the drama, Dayo Amusa stated that we all have our inner battles and challenges. She avowed that before anyone reminds her of the saying ‘A friend in need is a friend indeed’, they should consider the possibility of their friend also being in need.

She opined that being unaware of people’s situations and needs isn’t a justification for feeling entitled to their support. She noted how everyone has challenges in their life, which they don’t make public as some are good at wearing masks.to cover their struggles.

Dayo admonished the public that it was time they thought outside of their selves and allowed love to lead their thoughts and actions.

“We all have our inner battles and challenges.

Before you go on about how a friend in need is a friend indeed, Please pause to consider the possibility of your friend also being in need.

That you are not aware of their situation and needs is not justification for you to feel entitled to their support. We all have our individual challenges in life even if it doesn’t make it to SM. Some of us are so good at wearing masks covering our struggles. We can do better as humans.

I understand HUMANITY is of high importance but if it’s not happening when expected doesn’t make your friend a mean person. He that wears the shoes knows where it’s hurting

It’s time we thought outside of ourselves and allowed love to lead our thoughts and actions. It’s time we reconsidered the cancel culture and let go of any sense of entitlement

We are the architects of our own individual lives No one owes you anything”.
