The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has revealed that it is collaborating with approximately 23 political parties, civil society organizations, and other political associations to dislodge the All Progressives Congress (APC) from power.

Addressing members of the National Executive Committee (NEC) at their 76th meeting in Abuja on Tuesday, ADC’s National Chairman, Ralphs Okey Nwosu emphasized the importance of rescuing Nigeria and called on all well-meaning Nigerians to join forces with the ADC.

He stated that the ADC Summit in Kaduna 2024 focused on strengthening party structures and building alliances, coalitions, collaborations, and possible mergers. “The summit witnessed the coming together of 23 political parties, civil society groups, and associations,” he said.

Okey Nwosu highlighted one of the key decisions reached at the summit: “the need to work diligently together for the 2027 general elections to install a leadership that cares for the people.”

He informed NEC members that expanded discussions are ongoing, saying, “I can assure you that if we continue to take the right steps, over 50 political parties and organizations will come on board. We have called the NEC to review and give ourselves a mandate to deepen all discussions to bring about a mega force to ensure that our country is restored to a dignified path.”
