As per reports, director Ahmed Khan & producer Firoz Nadiadwallah’s Welcome to the Jungle set got damaged due to the intense rainfall in Mumbai. The makers had constructed a gigantic set to kickstart their Marathon schedule from the first week of August featuring all 34 leading actors. However, this damage has now created a setback that is likely to impact the film’s shooting schedule.
The entire crew is currently working day and night to reconstruct the mammoth set to recommence the shoot of the film and director Ahmed Khan has taken the creative decision to commence the shoot as soon as the set is ready.

The torrential monsoons lashing out at the city of Mumbai have created havoc over the past few weeks, bringing life to a standstill. The entire set of the film was constructed with precision, and very significant portions of the film were to be shot. Despite this unplanned delay, the makers are once again working towards putting together a huge set to complete the shoot as soon as possible.
Director Ahmed Khan on this scenario shares, “It is unfortunate that a portion of the set got damaged due to the heavy rainfall in Mumbai. So as a creative call, I have decided to begin the shoot once the set is reconstructed. The crew is endlessly working on rebuilding the set and hopefully, we will begin the shoot soon.”
Base Industries Group presents Welcome to the Jungle produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwallah and directed by Ahmed Khan. The comedy stars Raveena Tandon, Suniel Shetty, Lara Dutta, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi and Mika Singh. Sanjay Dutt was also cast in a pivotal role but had to back out owing to health reasons. The film is slated to hit the theatres on December 20, 2024.
