“We won’t win it a 9th time just by entering the field”

After dismissing Marie-Antoinette Katoto’s PSG, the Lyonnaises will meet FC Barcelona in the final, on May 25 in Bilbao. Barcelona women whom they beat in the final in 2022 (3-1). However, for Wendie Renard, there will be no favorite. The Lyon captain warned her teammates.

“If OL are favorites in the final with 8 titles? Seriously, do you think there is a favorite in the Champions League final? No, she retorted. Even if we have won it 8 times, we will not win it a 9th time just by entering the field. We will have to make an effort but we will have time to look into it. »
