The final episode of the Lifetime docuseries Where Is Wendy Williams? aired yesterday, and in that episode, the former daytime TV host shown taking a trip to Los Angeles, California.
Wendy, 59, and her publicist, Shawn Zanotti, were traveling for a meeting with NBC regarding her return to television.
Media Take Out spoke with multiple people close to the situation, who confirmed that Wendy was drunk during the entire trip.
One person who intimately knows Wendy explained, “I watched the entire series, and it was clear that Wendy was drunk during each and every scene that she was on camera.”
“How could you do that. Get someone drunk, and then film them for tv. It’s exploitation.”
As Media Take Out reported, last week Wendy was diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia.
And the alcohol and the dementia reared it’s head on last night’s episode.
While in the car driving to see her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Wendy appeared to not know where she was – suggesting that they were in Miami.
Then, she did it again – During the NBC meeting, she said the potential talk show had to take place in New York and not there in Miami – even though she was in LA.
In a statement released earlier this week, it was revealed that Wendy was diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia.
“They have to understand, it can’t be here in Miami. It’s gotta be in New York, New York,” the TV personality said.
The producer then asked her where she was currently.
She took a moment to think about it, then said California.
