Wendy Williams is out and about in New York City. The 60-year-old former talk show host was spotted in NYC on Saturday (March 15) after she was taken from her assisted living facility to a hospital for an evaluation during a welfare check earlier this month. Wendy used a red mobility scooter before walking into the backseat of a vehicle while exiting The Pendry Hotel in Manhattan. Keep reading to find out more… On March 14, Wendy called into The View to share an update on her health after her hospitalization. “It was my choice to get an independent evaluation on my incapacitation, which I don’t have it,” Wendy shared, adding that she is currently “alcohol-free.” Wendy‘s diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia & aphasia was revealed in February 2024, and she has been in an ongoing legal battle with her court-appointed guardian, Sabrina Morrissey. Sabrina claimed Wendy is “cognitively impaired, permanently disabled and legally incapacitated,” a statement which Wendy has repeatedly denied.
