French manager Arsène Wenger believes Jurgen Klopp could regret ending his adventure with Liverpool.

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger can understand Jurgen Klopp’s decision to leave Liverpool. However, he wonders if he wasn’t a little hasty.

Klopp will leave Anfield at the end of the season. And to justify this decision, the German declared that he no longer had much energy. “Personally, I have never felt that way. I respect what he did. I thought he was very good during the press conferences”the Frenchman told BeIN Sports.

Wenger would have acted differently

“This job is not more stressful (than in the past). First of all, you need to know the person’s situation. Does he miss having a normal life? I have only dedicated my life to football. I didn’t miss normal life and I only discovered that there was a normal life when I stopped.” added the Alsatian.

The former Gunners coach does not regret at all having stayed in high-level football for so long. “I would say I miss the intensity of this life. I was able to experience it because football was, and still is, so important to me. It seemed normal to me. I could live with the pressure. The cardiologist might say no to that! “
