Nothing very reassuring two and a half months before the Euro. Starting this Saturday during the spectacular meeting between Newcastle and West Ham (4-3), the third goalkeeper of the France team, Alphonse Areola, had to leave due to injury at half-time and give way to the Pole Łukasz Fabiański .

Visibly hit in the leg, the 31-year-old goalkeeper had even stopped taking the six-meter throws in the first period. West Ham are expected to communicate the nature of his injury in the coming hours. This season, Areola had already had to give up his duties during the match between West Ham and Manchester United.
